1.8 zetec cams in a 1.6 zetec possible?
Right, I own a 1.6 16v zetec escort, I have the chance to buy the sams from a 1.8 16v XR2i zetec. I'm just wondering is:
A. Do the fit? ie are the heads the same?
B. If it does will it give any performance gain

tbh, Iveheard different things, some say 1.6 and 1.8 and 2.0 heads all the same, others say 1.6 are different to 1.8 and 2.0 (which are the same)
As far as I know and dont quote me on this as Im not sure like... if you have a 1.8 105ps or whatever, you can fit the cams and throttle body from a 1.8 130ps to give power gains though...
BTW I would change the thread title to 1.8 zetec cams into a 1.6 zetec possible?? worth it??
