Default Fuel pressure

We are just about to start up my brothers Zetec turbo fiesta rst for the first time. I've got a fuel pressure gauge on the reg but what pressure should it be running roughly. It's a new aftermarket reg with aeroquip fittings. I thought it should be around 14psi but was unsure

I set it to 1bar and it wouldn't start. When I for home I had a quick search and found people quoting around 3-3.5bar. Will try that tomorrow and see what happens

I quickly had a look at technical articles on fuel pressure and funnily enough the frst pump is mentioned and its seal (internal o.e pump) with a limit of 5bar pressure . It must be a common known issue with big spec frst's. Do some research on it as you maybe near the limit if high boost.
