Default STALLING PROBLEMS!!!

hi i have had this prob with my 1989 efi 3i cabriolet, every time i depress the clutch (eg junctions) the revs drop to a bout 500 rpm before either a) pick up to normal idle speeds or b) stalls.

in order to solve probs i have fitted another ISCV, CO2 pot, inlet gasket, head gasket (see below)

i swapped the head gasket because she was chuffing out white smoke even after driving for an hour or so (when removed head seemed old gasket looked fine), yet it seems both the smoke and stalling probs are there

any ideas???

also, what should turning the screw on the co2 pot do, as turning mine on both the old and new (well off a smashed 2i) co2 pots does nothing...

any help would be good

also check for vacuum leaks around the inlet manafold, if there is a leak you may be able to hear a sucking sound for a few seconds after the car is switched off
