Good afternoon.
Has anyone got any ideas on my problem, window stopped working so i stripped out and refurbished the motor and checked wiring & earths and picked up a new passenger window switch on Ebay. The window will now only go down but if i plug an old drivers side switch into the passenger side it will go up and down! Drivers side was also refurbished and works better than ever apart from the passenger window will not operate from the drivers side.
I have 12v going to the up & down wires at the passenger side motor end when buttons are pressed bu no action, apart from running new passenger side wires across the car is there anything else i can try?

sound like the switch mate at fault. e-bay do sell some duff shit from time to time and the reason why the motors fail is water ingress it does help to wd-40 em from time to time.

 

bad connection from the loom that goes from left window to near the drivers speaker area as a guess??!?
