hi

problem with the passenger side rear door on an 07 mondeo , old shape

the lever for manually locking the door is stuck and wont move, subsequently the door wont lock either manually or by the remote

iv tried to take off the door panel by doing the following

ive taken out the 4 screws on the door car and the one inside the door handle but the panel is stuck fast, does it just need brute force or am i missing a few screws or clips???

dont want to bust it and figured id ask first

 

Pretty sure there's some screws behind the grab handle bit that's in the centre of the door card, need to hook off the cover.

 

i was thinking as much, deffo something holding it on, when i was 20 id have ripped it off with temper, lol, now im too old and would cry
