Default Please Help - FRST Running Weird!

Can anyone help?

My frst wont run at all with the map sensor disconnected.

If you disconnect the vacume pipe into the map sensor and leave it with air leak the car will drive fine and idle fine apart from it will misfire on boost.

If you connect the vacume pipe into the map sensor it wont idle and judders when you first pull away but feels great when on boost.

HELP!!! Is this a fueling issue? If so what do I do?

Cheers.

Checked and replaced every sensor mate apart from the cps!

I doubt its that but I might give that a try too cause there are a few stories on the net of faulty ones giving similar probls, people believe they either work and your car runs or they dont and your car doesnt run but I not sure...

Somethings well odd!

Cheers.

yeah if you unplug the CPS it won't start as there will be no spark, i would give the ISCV a clean and maybe try a new TPS, and then go and get the base idle checked out.

make sure the bit of loom & plug that go on the c.p.s. are ok & not heat damaged.
if they are, you can buy a replacement part from ford, there not dear.

Good luck.

Checked and replaced cps, speed sensor and iscv now.

Still no joy, it wont idle and stubles a little bit on moving slowly. Seems ok apart from that.
