Fiesta MK5 timing belt tensioner
...moved this from the Fiesta forum as it didn't seem to be getting very far!
I've just bought a timing belt kit for a V-registration 1.25 Fiesta. However the tensioner looks nothing like the one that came off the car.
GSF said over the phone that the new tensioner is a revised design & does look different to the original, and that they have supplied the correct part, but I'm not convinced - and I can't easily check it on the car as it's 80 odd miles away from me currently.
Anyone know if the two in the pics are compatible, or have they supplied the wrong kit?
It's a Dayco kit.
