had the car running but the car wont fire anymore.

I have a spark and fuel as far as im aware everyting it tightt on chekd the cps sensor , bat charged, what xould be the problem?The car feels as thouhg its almost about to fire but donest the egine jsut keeps turning over on starter.The timming is spot on.aAlthoug im not sure weather the crank is compression stroke although im sure it is as i put a scredriver down the spark plug hole and no1 piston came to its highest point.Couls have i missed anything or should check something.How can i tell if my ecu is dead or taht the ecu matches the map sensor, any ideas folks?

 

have you checked crank sensor that it hasnt got oil or muck covering it
