Default Sierra 2.0i Dohc rattling lifters

I've tried to solve this problem for some time, but it hasn't gone away.
The rattling sound doesn't end at all, it's pretty much the same on cold and warm engine. It doesn't go away even when revving.

I've already changed the lifters for febi/bilstein. Oil pump pressure relief valve plug is checked, it was loose. Oil intake pipe is cleaned.

Oil pressure was about 1 bar at idle, before i cleaned oil pipe.
Haven't checked afterwards.
According to the manual, it should be 1.6 bar.

Im using ford's own 5w30 oil, which is right for this engine to be used in finland.
Engine has been cleaned with diesel & oil mix for several times, no change at all. Oil is clean.

Im running out of options.

I would think that even with the low temperatures in Finland, 5W30 is a bit too thin, Probably better off with 10W40.

remove lifters
remove the little hydraulic bits form inside
pump the old oil out of them in a vice, close the vice up to push the old oil out several times
leave hydraulics in a bucket of clean oil for 24 hours
refit
should solve the problem

they need soaking in oil to get all the oil into them apparently

if you haven't changed the timing chain it owuld be a good idea to do it now as you've hae to remove it in any case, but if you have, you may get away with just buying a new tensioner
