Got a 03 st170 and just recently it's started to unlock itself. I always deadlock it but I can go to it in the morning and every so often it's unlocked. At first I thought I might of forgot to lock it or something stupid but it is unlocking itself. The weird thing is if you unlock it but don't open a door it will lock again like its supposed to. Any one else come across this?

Take the door panels off and lubricate the whole locking mechanisms. If that doesn't sort it then going to be a new door loking actuator, pin pointing which one it is could be tricky though!

 

It will be one of the masters, i.e. driver or passenger door, another way is to unplug either one and then test for diagnostic purposes, but as you say otherwise for the fix.
