4x4 saff engine removal

4x4 saff engine removal
Is it possible to take out a 4x4 cossie engine and leave the sump in place to basically undo all sump bolts first the lift out engine?

ah ok i'll bear that in mind. If i cut the pick up pipe can i replace it with a 2wd one as the engine will be having a 2wd sump put on it or will i have to use a 2wd pump as well.
