Focus Key Shell replacement

Focus Key Shell replacement
I have recently bought a 2004 Focus.The remote buttons on the key shell are difficult to press.I have bought a new shell but for the life of me I cannot work out how to get the "gubbins" out of the button half of the shell.Can anyone help please?
