solid engine stabilizer bar
just looking into how to make my engine more sturdy and whats everyones opinions on a solid stablilzer bar?
ive found that i could make a nice one to join the back of the engine (gearbox to engine bolts) and connect it to the subframe probably weld it to it and have holes so it will just be a bracket. in thoery this will stop the engine going backwards when engine breaking as my inlet is reallyyyy close the back of the engine bay.

Hi if the stabiliser bar were to be solid i.e metal on metal you will get vibration in the car and possible metal fategue. You can get o.e rubber stabbliser bar from a v6 vectra wich will work with approriate brackets and no vibrations.
