I have a mk1 mondeo with a 2litre silvertop zetec originally but it blew so i bought a 1.8 silvertop zetec from a mk6 escort but have now noticed that the mondeo engine mount wont bolt to the escort engine coz it badly hits the oil filter and pump. Is it possible to swap over the pumps and where are the bolts as i opened all the bolts i could find near the oil pump and it still wont come off. Are the bolts behind the crank pulley? Thanks everybody.

 

Oil pumps should switch over. You have to take the crank pulley off and the woodruff key out the shaft im sure. Sump also has to be removed aswell as it goes below the sump and has the pick up on it.
