Escort gti 4 branch
Hi guys n gals am new to passion ford, I'm a fully qualified motor mechanic but a Lil stuck with my mates escort gti and have decided to ask for some advice!!! He has asked me to look at his car as he believes he has a misfire, so here's the mystery unravelled.............
On his gti running standard engine, he has fitted a stainless steel 4 branch manifold, the belief of the misfire is down to the fact that numbers 2,3,+4 branches have turned blue due to the heat exchange, but number 1 branch has not dis coloured at all compared to the others. Now I've seen another gti with a 4branch and have noticed the same. Can anyone tell me is this a normal characteristic for these cars?????
Any help welcome
Cheers PC
