Morning all.
Electrics dufus looking to find out how to bench test Mk4 Escort electric window motors.
Is it a simple case of grounding the body of the motor and putting positive to each of the terminals in sequence to test clockwise & anti-clockwise motion?

Can someone please tell me how to bench test an electric window motor from a mk4 Escort-is it a case of grounding the metal body and touch a live onto each of the two motor terminals in turn to get clockwise & anti clockwise movement?

been a long time fella seem to remember the earth and live switch sides depending on which way its going ie up or down
