interia light/clock

Default interia light/clock

hello all,just a quick question-i seem to have a problem with my interia light and clock on my escort rs turbo(s2)in the fact it does'nt work i've checked the fuses,bulbs etc and have had no joy,i've even taken the interia clock from my missues xr2 to see if it works on my motor which sadly it did'nt so somewhere there is a fault-can anyone help?if so can anyone give an idiots guide on how to solve this as it is'nt much fun getting into the car either early in the morning or in the evening in the dark

get a bulb and connect it to the +ve and -ve connectors in the car... if the bulb doesnt light then it could be a wiring jobbie... if thatsthe case ur only option maybe be to follow the wires back to the battery to find where the problem is...
actually is it just ur clock/light that doesnt work or is it other stuff ie is it ur battery which is buggered?

unfortually the clock and light does'nt work as i said i've taken the interia clock/light from my missues xr2(which works) and plugged that into the rs but as i said it's dead as a doue doue i think it's possibley a wireing jobie but like i said i just want a quick solution to fix the problem is there a way i can re-run the wires so that it can work any help would be grateful,it can't be the battery as it is a new one !

then yea, the quick solution would be to follow the existing wiring and then either put new wires in urself or find the problem with the existing wiring
