Default 1994 Fiesta Floods and Wont Start

1.1 (M) Reg Sapphire with single point injection) Floods most times when starting the first time each day even if weather is warm. AA showed me how to pull the fuel pump fuse and replace it just as the car starts. It dont always work though and then just flattens battery. It didnt always do this so any help would really be appreciated.

when starting put clutch in and dont pump the gas,

also try adjusting the idle speed if the car around 800rpm sfould do

or stick a small jubile clip on the fuel line to restrict the flow,

The ecu shuts off the injectors if it detects wide open throttle whilst cranking to clear a engine if it floods due to it not starting.

Have you tried this?
