hi
got a problem with the boost on my 2007 st
its only reading 1/4 boost on the gauge anyone any ideas
the car seems to be running fine just down on top end power?

 

has the engine management light come on?

have ou checked all hoses etc..

check your down pipe is still there

any mods?

 

Most likely a faulty "boost control" solenoid.

Depends if its doing in all gears and engine loads. First gear will likely only read 1/4 boost. The problem with the ST is its boost maps are load dependand if that makes sense. Put it in third or 4th at 30mph and floor the throttle, the boost will likely rise to 3/4 then settle at 1/2.

You could try resetting the CAM fuse (fuse 26). If this doesnt help, could be faulty boost solenoid.
