Question Help

I've got an 05 plate Mondeo TDCi which doesn't always like starting.

Sometimes it starts perfect and runs fine, but other times it will start and cut out, or it feels like it is about to stall and won't rev?? After about 30 seconds to a minute it seems to settle and runs perfect

Well it only does it half the time, the engine management light comes on when it does it so I'm gonna hook the code reader up to it and see if there's any codes. Glow plugs should come up, I don't think it's them though coz they packed in on my other car and it was totally different. It starts initially, but either cuts out or won't rev :S

Cheers, I would, only problem being I can't find the diagnostic pin plug? I've looked in all the usual places, is it worth pulling the driver's side mini glovebox out? would it be behind there?

Officially the diagnostic plug has to be around the steering wheel.
You must be able to reach it when seated behind the steering wheel.
O.K., you are supposed to be acrobatic some times.
