Default escort series 2 boost problem

got a rs turbo run fine at 1.2 bar sent the turbo off to be rebuilt didnt know what stage it was so i had it built to stage 2 now its like there is no boost in first gear but there is in every other gear could my actuator need setting up as it was running 1 bar without the boost controller and now it runs just standerd boost 0.5 unless i adjust the boost controller so i aint 100 percent the turbo was rebuilt by cr turbos if that helps any help appriciated

It will run less boost without a controller as you arn't bleeding any, i.e. I presume you "hot plumbed" the compressor straight to the actuator?

I think it may be your actuator needs setting up as you say as there is no other logical reason why it would have changed.

CR Turbos are a reputable company so I doubt the turbos at fault

thats what i thought mate its the first time i have ever had a turbo built so i did look round and a lot of people said cr and the only thing i could think of is that the actuator aint getting enouth pressure to open properly in 1st gear
