Default Escort van lights

Is there a relay for the drivers side headlight/back lights?

Baisically i had no main beam on the drivers headlight so i had a fiddle with it now ive lost all the lights on the drivers side.
Still have indicators, brake lights and flash but other lights won't work

I tested the voltage at the headlight plug and its not as much as the pass side so could it be the stalk? Even tho ive just put another one in.

Could the rears cause the fronts to go?

Checked the fuses and there okay

I only get one reading on the drivers side so i guess this is for the flash/main beam as the lights still flash but don't get get anything else

Well the main plugs that goes into the headlights are different for some reason. One has 5 pins (drivers side) and one has 4 (pass side).
They havnt been changed so must be made like this for some reason.

I have changed the light but no luck.

I will try my other stalk and check rear earth aswell tomorrow. I have to check what im getting at the multi plug at the stalk to see if theres power getting to the stalk.

I suspect its a relay or the plug as they worked (apart from dipped) until i took the light out and had a look then i lost on the drivers side

Theres power at the plug for the stalk.
Checked the rears they look okay cany see any problems there but theres no power at the plug apart from one which must be indicators/brake lights.
What else can i do?

i dont know which relay it is, but when you switch the lights on and off you should hear the relay clicking in and out, what are you using to test the plug which goes into back of the headlight?

Right have got them working now but still don't have dip on the drivers side. Could it be a faulty plug?
