2001 Ford Fiesta Flight 1.3 8v.

dads had the car from new and it's been good as gold but last month it had revving problems you put ya foot down in gear and it hold back like it miss firing.

and if goes like kangaroo petrol only if ya foot down of have the wheels nearly on full lock.

and then sometimes it fine.

EML light will come on and flash if it keeps going like a kangaroo.
have had it plugged in and it saying miss fire on no.3.

Replaced the Spark plugs test drive still there.
Coil pack replaced. Still there.
HT leads and still does it.

Mate has said try replacing the coil pack again in case it faulty and will do 2moro.

any ideas guys.

 

When the EML is flashing you should do something to stop it flashing - like switching off the engine.

 

maf?? seems like it could be

 

id say maf (if it has one) or coil pack

 

will have a look Sunday see if there is a MAF off top my head don't think there is but will check.
