Default Problems with my nipples :(

Happy New year... thought id make my 1st post of 2012 a smiley one

Fitted a new/refurb set of calipers yesterday, all went well until the system pressure built up, and they it was pi55ing out of the double bleed nipple. Took it apart and the threads are stripped - so some numpty who 'rebuilt' these has obveously used the wrong threads.

A little concerned about what this has done to the carrier and so a re-tap is on the cards. Im looking to buy an assortment of brake nipples (pref the doubles) to suit the thread I end up using.

Any ideas where I can get these from ..... or any advise to repair would be appriciated.

Cheers all

Default Nipples

Hi I got some double bleed nipples from Compbrake last year for some AP calipers I repaired. I think they do different ones. Also rally design also do a good selection

I would of thought any local engineering or hydraulic supplies shop would be able to supply what ever thread size you wanted
