problem refitting the lower part of the dash

Default problem refitting the lower part of the dash

i fitted a new top half dah

but when i removed the passenger side lower trim ( glove box )
a metal bracket came with it an dropped

now im not sure how this connect back up

i have a 2" bar with 2 holes
and a long bracket with 2 arms?

anyoe any idea how this conects cause im losing patience with it an it is needed to support the glove box some how

Ive had mine out before and remember it was a bit tricky getting it back in, can't recall a bracket though, perhaps it's to join the lower facia to the upper one?
