Default Focus TDCi 03 starting problems

I am having difficulties to start my Focus tdci especially in the morning, when I gave it 3 times heater it will start but else it won't. I have checked the glow pugs and all 4 are good as these were changed last winter. Is there any other problem regarding starting it up? Thanks a lot.

Well if it needs 3 cycles of glowplugs I would assume that it is these you need to have a look at first. The fact the the plugs are fine and new may point out to a weakness in the plug circuit not giving them enough voltage.

Either that or perhaps the fuel pump is not priming properly.

just had this problem. turned out to be a fucked injector. was dropping the fuel pressure in the rail. pull off the leak off pipes from the injectors and get someone to crank the engine. i had 3 with bearly any fuel coming out and one that was jetting out.

worth a quick look.

thanks a lot, I will take it to the my friend John's Diesel service to have him take a look at the injectors and also check the voltage on the injectors.

The problem was coming from a tired battery. I fitted a 70ah Varta and now everything is fine. thanks.
