yer it will... the amount of boost that the turbo needs to make on the 80bhp car is much greater than what will be needed on the other engine.

so yer it will be fine..

Impossible to say, it's not that simple.

Too small a turbo will restrict an engine's ability to get rid of exhaust gasses and/or supply enough air. If it's already blowing at it's max you'll lose power.

It depends on the engine as said, also you need to go to some effort and expensive to turbocharge a N/A engine, the amount of work depends on the current setup!

Alot of fabrication involved and you will need some sort of ic to lower comp.

2 head gaskets won't seal either. You need decomp plates.

I seem to remember reading that the FTo lump doesn't respond well to boost

There's a vw tuner down in London somewhere that specialises in turboing 16v na vws and fitting megasquirt etc. One of the modifications he does is doubles the head gaskets. I only know this as a friend of mine has toyed with the idea of trailing his car down and getting it done he achieves mega bhp out of them. I will try and find out the name of the company.
