Hi there
...
I "hope" you can help me out here...?
I am building a 2 litre Zvh engine. Using a 2 litre Zetec silvertop bottom end, Cvh 1,6 Efi head and Focus Rs mk1 pistons...
I have been trying to figure out the compression ratio of this setup. But my math skills can not cope with it :-(.
So i have a theory. Please correct me if i am wrong...
Zetec std cr. = 9,6:1
Zvh with Std. Zetec bottom end cr. = 8,3:1
Focus Rs mk 1 std. cr. = 8:1
Wich must leave me with a cr. around 6,7....? Not exactly. As i am using the Cometic Zvh multi layer headgasket. I have forgotten the thickness of this one...
But this cr. is way to low if i am not mistaken? I am hoping to pull around 300 hp on this setup with a lot of fancy specs and a Garret GT2860RS turbo... But im not sure with this setup??? :-(...
Best regards - Kasper - Denmark
