right. ill start off with sayin im mehcnically illiterate. but im looking into puttin a 2.0 zetec into a sportka (can be done i know haha)

what i know i need is

1.8 sump, oil pick up, flywheel, dipstick and tube.
rs turbo clutch
mounting kit from track designs
ib5 gearbox
2.0 zetec loom and ecu


i managed to get the engine, loom and ecu for £125 which aint bad. ive got the gearbox from an old ka that i was scrapping (kept for parts)

the toruble im having atm is how do i run the 2 looms?

obviously ive gotta use the 2.0 loom to run engine, and 1.6 loom to run everything else, but

some people have said im better runnning an rs1800 loom and ecu, with the rs1800 inlet. yet others have said i can use the 2.0 zetec loom and ecu with the rs1800 inlet.

this is for starters, im hopefully going to cam and carb it next year on omex 600.
