Anyone got any ideas ?

I cannot find the sensor anywhere?

I have even dismantled the throttle butterfly and have been poking around in behind there to see if it was there but it is not!!!!

The MAP sensor on the Ka engine was right behind the butterfly but fuck knows where it is on the Focus.

 

Only early models had a MAF sensor, later examples had a TMAP sensor which is intregal to the inlet manifold.

You must mean MAF. Mass air flow sensor.
