Last spring,my heater fan stopped working on low, then eventually only worked on high, then stopped entirely. Two weeks ago,Oct/11,I purchased a resister(situated behind the glove box on the left) $36 with tax from Kanata Ford.I checked the little resistor on the end and it had no continuity (the new one did ) Anyway,I installed it...no fan speeds Ok,maybe (I have no after market repair manual and I bought the car off a used lot) the fuse is blown? I checked the fuses under the dash. The only one blown was the lighter(which never worked) I went under the hood those fuses worked as well.My questions are...wtf?...Is there a blower fan fuse?..a tech told me there's something at the base of the fan..emergency highway relay/resistor? Can some one shed some light and help me?
