Hi guys I'm after a bit of advice. I recently bought a escort Rs turbo 1.8 zvh.

Now the problem I've got is the rev counter does not work and the battery keeps draining. Any help will be appreciated!

Battery draining is one of 3 things:

Battery is knackered (get it tested, halfords even do it IIRC)
Alternator isnt charging (check with a volt meter)
Something is draining it which shouldnt be

With regards to rev counter, might just not be connected, hard to say without seeing how it is wired in, or the ecu you have might not be compatible with your clocks.
