Hi all.
Wondering if anyone could give me there thoughts. I've got a 2.0 blacktop running 7psi boost through an eaton m45 supercharger. All has been perfect since the supercharger conversion. Covered many miles and taken some "enthusiastic" driving.
However, had an issue at lydden hill trackday last Saturday. Under heavy throttle got a loud rattling. Stopped the engine and opened the bonnet. Found lots of smoke from oil breather. When cranking it was chuffing smoke from there and the dipstick tube and sounded like no compression.
After a few checks I gave up on the day. Recovered it home and removed the head to find a chewed up piston

The ceramic has broken off the bottom of the plugs on 2 cylinders. Now, unless that's a red herring, I can't work out why I've got a pressurised crankcase. The bores look ok, so piston blow by!? If so why?
Any ideas greatly received before I bang a new set of pistons in and rebuild
Thanks,
Matt
