Sierra 4X4 - Turbo Identification Question
Evening All...
Forgive this basic question, but i have zero knowledge of Turbo's, but am very willing to learn.
Have been looking at the engine below with a view to purchasing it, but I am unsure of the what the turbo is... I am thinking it is T4, but not sure...
It had a code T04 B14 on it..
In addition, there is approx 1-2mm ply in the shaft.. Is there a spec for the play in these.
It has a 0.06 Housing...
I was hoping it would have a T3 Turbo with a 0.48 housing to minimise the LAG.... This Engine is a Drift / Track Car.
Thanks

its the same size as a t34 but with a different trim [8 blade its early wheel i think they call it the s trim ]
cant see you exhaust housing size, have a look around the inlet of the flange
you should see .48 or .63 ect
also a pic of the turbine wheel will be good
