Do you need to use any kind of sealant? Or just fit them dry?

just clean up the block with some wire wool or sand paper get it spot less and put them in dry never had any probs some say put some sealant on but no need

The Factory fit them with a semi-hardening sealer (like pipe sealant)
That's what I used on ones I did before. I would also use a smear of Red Hermetite on flange type core plugs and edge sealing types before you wack them in.
