Brought a new one from msd felt so nice and now this ones melted too and a new speedo cable from burton's not only was it approx 8" shorter this too has melted again over the exhaust

 

if thats the case I'd say you've got them routed wrongly tbh!

 

Well speedo cable was deffo 8"ish shorter then genuine 1 and that has to go over to of exhaust from gear box and clutch cable as it sweeps round past exhaust manifold when u push the clutch peddle little did I know it almost touches the manifold check to see if yours does it and what condition ur cable is in by the manifold my new one has melted to buggery :-(
