Hi Guys, This is my first post on Passion Ford so bear with me.
I have a Dutton Kit car with a 1600 crossflow and a Weber DMTL carb that I'm using for autotesting. It starts and runs fine from cold but when its warm and its been switched off and then back on again it will only run at low revs. At high revs it just dies and doesn't seem to be getting the fuel through. I've changed the fuel filter and serviced the carb thinking it was dirt in the fuel but its still got the same problem.

Can anyone help??

Fuel doesn't seem to be getting to the carb when the engine is hot (it works perfectly when cold) If I take off the air filter and look down into the carb there is no fuel being pumped in at high revs (it will idle OK). The Fuel line comes in from the back underneath the car but no major heat sources near it.

 

I pressume your running a electric fuel pump ??
