does oil filter size make a difference
well everybody. Maybe a stupid question but I serviced my xr3i the other day and from what I remember the last few oil changes have had the same size filter. The new filter i got however is bout 10mm shorter in length. The autofactors said it was for 82-90 models. Mine's a 90 mk 4. Does this matter? Thanks in advance

zetec-Sam, I work in a motor factors myself n yeh this is true, Fords n the company we use (Mahle) have shortened the Zetec filter. Its still essentially the same filter with the same seal diameter & everything but a physically shorter filter
