Has anyone done an analog to digital puma conversion on a mk5 fiesta i have a analog puma wiring loom and engine to go into my mk5 zs i just wondered if anyone has yet hard wired this loom to work with digital functions e.g clocks air con recurc please could some one help me

 

I have , it's a lot of work as you need everything ie hole car loom , dash, switches and so on then you have rewire the rear lights as all the plugs are different , I start at 9pm on a Friday and finished at 2pm on the Saturday and it was 80/90 percent done but don't be fooled some of it is a little shit to do and other parts just fall together , failing that you could buy mine lol, it's been done a year and a half now and all is still fine touch wood

 

i should really of brought the digital engine but i brought the whole puma for 300 quid with only 73000 miles on the clock

 

Is the digital ecu the same as the analog ecu is it just the looms that are different

 

No the ecus will be diff. From memory the common analogue one was MUFF hehe. You will need digital ecu (with transponder) and loom.

There has gotta be a way to get my analog loom to work with my digital loom I'm determine that this can be done with great difficulty

 

I wonder if u have the right (TAPE) ecu if you have to change all the looms just the same.
