Default dash warning display computer

Hi, this is a feature thats some of the MK2 Mondeos had, sadly mine never did. I am just wondering how I would wire one of these in? would I need additional stuff? or were ford nice enough to put all the wiring there so I just plug it in? any help here would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link to the item I am on about

Thanks

Dan

I don't know the answer, but suggest that focus/mondeopart will know as they break/fix these all day every day, 01603 866999.
I'd be surprised if the wiring was there tbh, but worth phoning above to make sure.

If it's anything like Sierra/Granada it's actually quite involved, for a start there are two ECUS controlling it, yours dosen't look so comprehensive though so I don't think it will have both, (i.e. bulb outage)

It does however seem to have a service light etc so it may interact with the main ECU only in which case it may just piggy back off it, if there is additional wiring I will imagine it will be unique to the high spec models so you may need a different loom in which case it's not really viable!

well, mine is a ghia X so as far as I am aware they don't get any more top end than that (not for the time anyway) starting to sound like I should just scrap the idea then.
