Hi all anyone tell me where i can get a set of plug leads from for my Escort RWD running a c20let engine, its running a stand alone ecu with a ford coil pack, ive tried the mondeo plug leads but are to fat to fit in the plug holes, and not quite long enough.

 

Is it a generation 1 coil pack or generation 2 ?, 1 has "clips" each side of the leads that help hold on to the pack, and are short and fat, 2 are taller and thinner and straight not using the clip arrangement.
Either way a bit pricey but Magnecor do custom made leads, can down load a quotation form from the website.

Yes have the clips fitted, just uploaded all my mapp and calibrated all the sensors ready to start it and dam the plug leads wont fit, must be the gen 2 ones then, will get a quote from magnacore aswell cheers

 

Cheaper to get a new ford coil pack, than change the HT's, about £40 for a CP from ford I believe or you could use the Accel CP 140018, 100% straight fit in place of ford one, mine cost me about £45 inc taxes from usa spares, wymondham, norfolk.

Have been told that you can use granada cosworth ones, they fit ok and work well, not tried this as of yet just need to get as much advice as poss
