Default 2.0 focus c/r ratio

hi, does anyone know how to work out how many mm to skim off the pistons to lower compression to around 8:1 in a blacktop zetec. ?

i know this is not the ideal way to do things.but hopefully better than a de-compression plate.

thanks.

If you balls it up I have a brand new set of 2.0 pistons and rods for a black top at home that at some point I'm gonna sell (when I get ropund to it)....

You'll need to take off more than 2mm as the pistons are dished (not flat-top). I'd think twice about removing that much aswell, it leaves the top ring very exposed
