Default mk3 escort zetec conversion ,rev counter??

hi i did a 2.0 silvertop zetec conversion in my mk3 escort couple of years back but never got the rev counter working and its bugging me now ,any ideas how to do it thanks

Could you graft a zetec cars tacho into your clock housing ?

i have thought about a rev counter off ebay and trying to graft it in but i just wanted to keep it as original as possible

Try tapping just one side of the coilpack negative pulse from the ecu, to see if you get it reading first, then you could try adjusting the multiplier on the actual tacho itself, but chances are you will need to send to speedy cables for modification, around Ł55.

as above, take one of the outer wires from the coil pack feed and feed this to the rev counter feed wire.
then take cluster out and adjust the pot under rev counter till it reads right, glue pot back in place and job done.
