Afternoon,
i fitted a 2.0 mondeo engine into my mk6 escort this weekend.
When I filled it with coolant, I had some drips of water coming from the back of the engine.
Once I started it up and turned it off it had leaked much more coolant from what seems like the oil filter,housing.
The water is not contaminated with oil and vise versa.
The header tank has lost enough coolant, so I know it is defo a leak of sorts.
There appears to be no water loss by the water pump (yes i changed the pump for the escort one)
Any ideas please!

 

Only thing I can think of back there is the take off for the heater matrix?
