GOT A PROB WITH ME ABS !!! IT AINT COMIN UP WITH A FAULT BUT AT LOW SPEEDS AND COMING TO A STOP THE ABS KICKS IN AN I GET THAT JUDDER FROM THE PEDAL !!! IVE CHANGED FRONT DISCS AN PADS COS THEY NEEDED DOIN A SENSOR ON THE N/S FRONT AND ALSO THE ABS PUMP ITSELF TO NO AVAIL !!! PLEASE HELP !! ITS A V REG 2.3 SI WITH 80K ON THE CLOCK BOUGHT FOR THE MISSUS TO FERRY KIDS ABOUT !!!

sounds like a abs sensor fault to me get a volt meter set it to ohms unplug sensor wiring connect meter to sensor and slowly rotate wheel and check the resistance

I think it's a sensor problem, I have and always have had this problem on my car, I think what is happening is one of the sensors is giving a duff input and it thinks the wheels are locking, remove and clean all four wheel sensors (It should be done anyway every so often so as to prevent problems.) This is what I have done but my front offside sensor is stuck and I think this may be the one causing a problem.

Also dirt in the teeth of the ring wheel should be removed.

Also a discrepancy between the front and rear wheel speed can cause problems.

cheers matey sorted it !! Knackard sensor o/s front !! Got 2 new sensors on the front now new discs an pads an a new but unneeded abs pump !!!

All sorted chaps !!! Thats for the replys !!! What a nightmare gettin em out though !!!! Hard as nails them sensors like !!!
