Hi all,

Went out in my RS Cabbie last night driving it normal and found that when I got home the Turbo was glowing red hot.

Is this normal. I have seen the Turbos glow after a good thrashing but never when driving the car normally.

Any help would be appreciated.

i belive your timeing may be to far out causing this had it on mine hope it helps

 

I'll double check the timing. I wonder if its down to the chipped ecu. I put that on and checked the timing and it was well low on tickover so I've set it to the haynes manual.

Time to get it on the rolling road me thinks to make sure everything is ok.
