i have a 1.8 zvh turbo in my fiesta rs and when its running when i rev it up it wont rev past 4500 on the clock and sounds like something is holding it back it wont hit the limiter any clues thanks

 

sounds like a mapping issue.
what engine management are you using and what injectors etc?

 

i brought the car as it is m8 so not sure whats been done,all i no is there green injectors and the lad said he dropped the zvh engine straight in to the fiesta rs shell he left the fiesta rs loom in the car and just put the leads and wires straight back on to the zvh lump,he left the loom that run the zvh in the car he scrapped he put the ecu off the car before weighing it in,in to this car and thats that m8,is there a certain loom for a zvh or will a stanard fiesta rs loom be the same ??? thanks
