Default Escort S2 - Changing exhausts

Will changing the exhaust on my s2 from a Mongoose to a Magnex affect the tuning side of things , i.e start running leaner /richer etc...

Any help appreciated

Thanks

Ken

no because ive got the 2 inch and the 4 inch i think its the noise that makes you think you going quicker than you the as for the mongoose its a pain it always drops down and rattles on the under side of the car magnex is the way forward

mongoose are the only ones who do the 3" bore for an rs turbo
its less restrictive on the turbo
i'd go mongoose m8 but there nearly £500

is it a 3" or 2.5" bore(not tailpipe)
as the 3"bore come with 4" rolled in like the magnex and has a much more throaty note than the 2.5" bore
yours will most certaimnly be a 2.5" bore

Not too sure mate , it does however have a 4" rolled out tailpipe though . The car is running a stg 3 Turbo with a .48 exhaust housing which is also a bit of a drag in London traffic ..i make up for it though when i head down to kent to see the folks
