Default Gear change

After fitting burton power short shifter and changing clutch gear changes seem some what intermittent sometime gears will select ok other times when I come to a stop I have to pump clutch peddle to get 1st also since changing clutch speedo does not work it's a paddle clutch

what clutch?
is your ratchet and pawl in good condition?
if a heavier duty clutch have you done the manual pedal conversion as in the ap website?

Yea it's an ap paddle clutch no haven't done peddle change what's engulfed with that then As I might have to do that it's hard to believe that a peddle could make any difference tbh

look on the AP website as it tells you what is needed for it.
the ford ratchet and pawl are too weak for a heavier clutch setup, manual is way better.

Ok cheers mate will have a look on pc at the weekend as can't seem to find anything on the website on my iPhone is it a hard/costley job
