hi ya can any one help the question is how much would it cost to tune my standard rst to 210bhp+ and what would need to be done any answers i would be greatfull cheers.

 

if you wanna run that much power ideally you would need a stronger engine than standard. How about a uprated intercooler, induction kit, exhaust, chip and a high lift cam. Get it set up right and should see at around the 190bhp mark.

hi there...we have built a 230-240hp erst and the spec list was roughly:

1600cc CVH
+.5mm MAHLE pistons with 7.6:1 CR IIRC
burton steel rods
stage 3 turbo with .48 exhaust housing
stage 3 Vulcan engineering head - big valves, fully ported and ported and bench tested
still retaining MFI
EVERYTHING regarding fuelling was renewed - injectors, fuel pump, filter, accumaltor, wiring etc etc
stage 2 bearnie box and 4 paddle clutch (to cope with power)
Pace HUGE front mount intercooler
Pace rad
CVH 34 Kent cam

limitor raised to 7200rpm

runs 22psi boost and lights up the tires in 2nd and 3rd even with the bearnie box in the dry!!

there is NO 5th injector and still on MFI...power figures have been estimated at 230-240hp GENUINE and beats new M3's hands down!

also have a S2 with a ZVH running 230hp

produces 230hp on the dot (cant remember name of RR but was in PF)

hi mate found ya. Go cosworth cant go wong with cosworth power or if you get an rs turbo has to be S1 get one now and i do the engine for you
